| Pete's Collectibles, Inc. was established as a business in 1986 after 28 years of coin collecting. Pete started collecting rare coins as a young boy working in his dad's country store in rural North Carolina in 1959. He remembers sitting at the kitchen table with his dad sorting out wheat pennies, mercury dimes, and occasionally finding a walking liberty half dollar. Encompassed in that heritage was the seed for the inspiration of the present day, Pete's Collectibles.
